Cold pressing does not force air into juice, therefore loss of nutrients is much slower. Refrigerated, your juice is good for up to 72 hours
Juice will separate naturally as no preservatives.

Smoothies contain fibre and protein, making an excellent choice for mealtime.
Cold pressed juices act as a rapid shot of energy within minutes as the digestive system is bypassed

I love my Kuvings and having tested many machines, this is the quietest, easiest to clean and  would  like to offer a 10% discount using the code MamaK at

I have tried Mama K’s raw Cold Pressed juices. In my opinion they look great and you can taste the freshness of the cold pressed vegetables and fruit in each bottle containing a concentration of live nutrients, enzymes, vitamins and minerals. These are essential in maintaining energy and vitality.

Q: I want to cleanse, but I’m unsure whether to go for a juice detox or a Juice and soup plan. What’s best?
A: The answer is what’s best for you. Juice fasting is the quickest, most effective way to detoxify as it nourishes the body, using live enzymes which jump start a sluggish immune system and provide vital nourishment for sustaining a healthy post-cleanse lifestyle. However, a full-on juice cleanse isn’t for everyone. We also offer a slower, gentler approach with our soup ‘n’ juice plan, which combines healthy juices with 2 soups each day. This is also a good option if you want to train and feel you wouldn’t be able to do so on juice alone.

Q: Can I smoke, drink coffee or have fizzy drinks during my cleanse?
A: While we obviously can’t make you abstain, we really don’t recommend it during a cleanse. After all, what’s the point of trying to detox whilst consuming all those toxins? It may be hard, but try to drink water with lemon or herbal teas instead of coffee or fizzy drinks. If you are experiencing major caffeine withdrawal then you could try green tea, although be aware that this does contain a small amount of caffeine. As for smoking, try to abstain during your cleanse and give up for good post cleanse.

Q: Will I get light-headed if I’m not eating solid food?
A: Not at all. You may have a headache and feel a little tired on the first day, but this will pass and your mind will actually become clearer as your cleanse progresses. Because you’re giving your digestive organs a holiday, your body will no longer have to focus on the exhausting job of breaking down meals, meaning that extra blood, oxygen, and energy is sent to and used by the brain.

Q: How long will my juices and soups last?
A: Your super fresh and un-pasteurised juices will last for 3 days once you’ve opened your box. This means you’ll need to start your cleanse or start using your juice box the day it arrives.

Q: Why do my juices separate? I think they’ve gone off.
A: Don’t worry, everything’s fine! Shop-bought products contain chemicals to stop the separation, which occurs naturally with raw juices and nut milks. Just shake your drinks and enjoy.

Q: How should I store my juices and meals?
A: Store everything in the fridge at 4 degrees and below as soon as they’re delivered and unpacked. If you’re planning to take your juices out and about, then use a frozen ice pack to keep them cool.

Q: How often should I cleanse?
A: It’s up to you. Some people cleanse once a year, others every six months, some once a month. We’ve found that our clients become passionate about cleansing once they discover how great it makes them feel. From our experience, they keep coming back to detox and even better, in most cases their eating habits change for life.

Q: Why can’t I start my cleanse on a Monday?
A: Unfortunately, we can’t ship overnight on Sundays; therefore our programmes can only run from Tuesday to Saturday.

Q: What’s better, a 3,6 or 9 day cleanse?
A: The length of a cleanse is a personal decision, although it depends on what you want to achieve and whether you’ve cleansed before. If you’re a newbie, then we’d recommend starting with a 3-day cleanse so you can see what it’s like. If you’ve done it before, then go for longer.

  • A 3-day detox will help the body rid itself of old built up matter and cleanse the blood.
  • A 6-day cleanse will do all of the above and begin the process of rebuilding and healing the immune system.
  • A 9-day cleanse will do everything the other plans do, but will also help fight off degenerative diseases and take care of more substantial problems before they arise.

Obviously, the longer you detox for, the greater the results. Certain substances such as protein remain in your system longer than others and it takes a while for your body to remove them.

Q: I’m on a budget and only want to do this if it really works? Do your juices and meals represent good value for money?
A: We think so. When you consider that a daily RTD plan features approximately 2 kilos of organic produce in every bottle, pressed using our state-of-the-art labour-intensive process (the most effective and modern juice extraction method on the planet), we feel that our products represent great value. Think of it as an investment in your health and wellbeing, and it’s money well spent.

Q: Will I lose weight?
A: While our juicing and meal plans aren’t diets, it is normal to lose weight during a detox. However, it’s important to remember that above all, this is a nutritional cleanse designed to give your digestive system a rest and thereby allow your body to eliminate toxins. See it as a way of kick starting a new, healthier lifestyle and not as a short-term weight-loss fix.

Q: Will I gain all the weight back?
A: Just like a diet, if you go back to eating badly after your cleanse, then you’ll obviously regain any lost weight. A detox makes people think about what they are putting into their body and sets them onto a new, healthier path. Generally, our clients enjoy happier, healthier lifestyles after their cleanse.

Q: I’ve heard that juices are great for helping the body recover. Is this true?
A: Yes, it’s completely true. Our juices have been created to deliver the maximum amount of goodness to your body. However, if you have any health concerns, we always advise speaking to your GP before embarking on a cleansing programme.

Q: What are the nutritional benefits of your juices?
A: Primarily it’s the vitamins and minerals present in the fruit and vegetables. These include vital nutrients such as folic acid, antioxidants and vitamins A, B, C, and E, all necessary to ensure optimum health.
It’s also important to acknowledge the presence of enzymes, which are responsible for the digestion and absorption of food into your body. Without enzymes, our metabolism can’t function at its maximum rate. Cold pressed organic raw juice is the best way for your body to receive these sources of enzymes. This is primarily because cooking destroys enzymes, which cannot exist in temperatures higher than 114c.

Q: Will cleansing make much of a difference to the way my body works?
A: Yes! Cleansing is hugely beneficial in improving muscle and tissue rejuvenation, relieving fatigue, combating anxiety and depression, helping with weight loss and digestive problems, aiding mental alertness and well-being, organ cleansing, eradicating IBS and helping skin and acne problems. It’s amazing!

All juices are bottled and refrigerated immediately and transported in temperature controlled cool bags. Please refrigerate if you don’t plan to drink on delivery.
